Street Furniture
'Street Furniture' is basically the 'Assets' or man made items that were and are purchased by the Parish Council and used by the public.
Within the Parish this includes:
Bus Shelters - Lower Woodside, Grove Road (located in Woodside and Slip End), Half Moon Lane and Church Road, Slip End
Dog Waste Bins - Located by The Plough, Woodside, on the corner of Crawley Close and Front Street, Church Road, and the junction of Summer Street and New Street
Fencing - In Claydown Way
Garden Features - The raised flower beds at the Rossway and Markyate Road junctions, and the raised brick built flower bed and ornamental tree at the Coronation Garden
Litter Bins - Located at the Coronation Gardens, in Crawley playground by the Youth Shelter and the Church Road slip road, by St Andrews Church
Noticeboards - Located on the side of the corner shop, inside the bus shelter in Half Moon Lane, Pepperstock, inside the bus shelter in Grove Road, Woodside, and freestanding at the Woodside Road and Mancroft Road junction in Lower Woodside
Playground Equipment - All the play equipment in Crawley Playground next to the Village Hall including the 'kissing gate' entrance on Markyate Road
Signs - The speed activated 'Slow Down' sign on Markyate Road, and the bespoke parish 'Slip End' signs at the Coronation Gardens and at Rossway
Youth Shelter - Located in Crawley Playground

Land - The Parish Council owns two pieces of land in Claydown Way, the grassed area in the middle of Old School Walk, the land the Coronation Gardens are sat on, a portion of Aley Green Cemetary and the house located there.
