The Peter Edwards Recreation Hall - Located at the sports and playing field, off Church Road, behind St Andrews Church.

Situated on Church Road at the Luton end of the village, Slip End boasts a huge sport and playing field which is well appointed, well managed and well used

There is a very well appointed pavillion available for hire, with several changing rooms and showers. Half of the building is a modern hall suitable for all kinds of functions for up to 100 people, with parking on site. There are three pairs of patio doors overlooking the large patio area and playing field, giving both light and access, and making it possible to spill out on to the playing fields in the summer. There is a kitchen with oven and fridge, and a bar area. Local publicans are happy to supply a bar for suitable functions.
