Grant Palmer Bus Service - For your information Grant Palmer ceases to operate routes 74, 202 and 231 on 23 December 2011. From 3 January 2012 the following changes happen:

202 - The 202 passes from the current operator to Centrebus with changes to timetable. The school buses from L&D Hospital and Katherine Drive to and from Manshead School have been withdrawn.

Direct Link retained between Dunstable and Harpenden via Ridgeway Avenue, Luton & Dunstable Hospital, Caddington, Aley Green, Woodside, Slip End and Pepperstock.

All journeys in Harpenden now operate in both directions via Tuffnells Way.

Route 202 continues to provide a direct link to ASDA, Sainsbury's and Tesco in Dunstable

School journeys between Luton & Dunstable Hospital, Katherine Drive and Manshead School are withdrawn. Passengers should take Arriva route 24 from the Katherine Drive area to Dunstable ASDA then change to a DB2 to Downside. A frequent service is provided along Luton Road by routes 31, X31, 61, 70.

231 - The 231 early and late journeys are amended. The 0702 from Dunstable to Luton on Mondays to Saturdays is withdrawn. The 1820 from Luton to Dunstable on Mondays to Saturdays is withdrawn.

The new timetable information for the 202 and 231 will be available from the Centrebus website in January 2012

Centrebus

Centrebus provides the no. 46 bus and the no. 231 bus, both of which cover Slip End.

The no. 46 bus route includes Luton, Slip End, Dunstable, Markyate, Flamstead, Redbourn and Hemel Hempstead

The no. 231 bus route includes Dunstable, Caddington, Woodside, Pepperstock, Slip End, Farley Hill, Luton, Barnfield College and Bushmead.
